Banana-Berry Hemp Smoothie
If you asked me what my favorite food was, I'd probably tell you it's a smoothie. Kinda boring, I get it, but when you've got as many food restrictions as I do, it's a pretty close contest for which foods actually make the cut. Since discovering my many food intolerances, I've found that smoothies are a great way for me to get the nutrients I need with very little prep time or ingredients.
Here's one of my go-to recipes that's great for a warm day, or whenever you're craving those summer vibes!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 cup unsweetened almond or cashew milk
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 scoop vanilla Vega Protein and Greens protein powder
- 1/2 tbsp Manitoba Harvest Hemp Seeds
- Optional: 1/4 c. of Bear Naked Gluten Free granola on top
Add ice, liquid, and all other ingredients, add to the blender and enjoy!
